Reglement Mountain-Marathon-Cup (MMC)               

 

1. The promoters of the MMC intend to set an overall placing of the finishers in the required time and during the year 2011 of the three alpin marathons namely: LGT-Alpin Marathon (FL), Zermatt-Marathon (CH - VS) and Jungfrau Marathon (CH -BE).
   
2. The participation legitimacy to the MMC is acquired by the entrant when the registration form and the payment of the registration fee are forwarded to the promoters until the 20 of July, 2011 at the latest. To be a permit-holder is not required.
The participation is subordinated to the specific rules of each event.
The runner's pretence to get an assured starting place for each one of the three marathons - particularly the Jungfrau Marathon - is expressly provided if he appears on the final Start and Finisher list of each previous marathon.

The be eligible for the overall placing the runner has to be a successful finisher registered in the final class list of each three marathons.

   
4. The addition of the official time of each event expressed in hours, minutes, seconds and hundredths of second gives the MMC placing. On the happening of an equality of the added times, the place obtained at the latest event (Jungfrau-Marathon) determines the MMC final class.
At no point a result is cancelled.
   
5. The age of the runner at the first event (LGT Alpin Marathon) defines his category for the MMC-Cup. The categories are:
- W/M 20     (1990 – 1971)          - W/M 40     (1970 – 1961)          - W/M 50     (1960 – 1951)          - W/M 60     (1950 and before)
   
6. The awards are allocated to:
- the 5 fastest runners „Men“
- the 5 fastest runners „Women“
- the first runners in each of the categories under cipher 5
Every finisher gets a souvenir. The award is delivered ONLY when the placing criterions are fulfilled AND the runner attends personally the prize giving at the end of the latest event (Jungfrau-Marathon). None prize is forwarded or holded at disposal. The MMC promoters decide on the assignment of the undelivered awards.
   
7. By their enrolment, runners agree to the actual regulations.
Each participant must be insured in third part liability and against personal accidents
Pretence or assertion of any kind, with or without a medical certificate, as regards a partial or entire reimbursement of the entry fee are rejected.
